Ok. So I need to pack up my crap in the next week or so. And I hate packing all alone in my apartment.

I was thinking that it would be nice to have y'all come over, hang out, watch some TV, eat some pizza and keep me company while I pack. If you want to help put things in boxes while your there, that would be keen.

Besides the joy of my company, you can also have first dibs on the stuff I'm not moving. I have old clothes, tacky nick-nacks, and um....old computer books free for the taking!

So! I haven't seen anyone in about forever. And it looks like A & D are both busy this weekend.

I suggest that we do dinner on Friday. I can do as early or as late as anyone wants.

Where's a good diner around these parts. I sorta want pah.

Ok! So brunch.

Dyke march is Saturday. Last year we went to brunch before and then went to Dyke march. do we want to do that again? Or should we go Sunday?

Also, I totally want to go to dyke march with y'all if y'all are going.

Wok! So my brother's graduation is on Sunday. I need to be in Scruz at around 1.

This means that Saturday is good and Sunday early is also good.

Who's around? Does anyone have a place they'd like to go?

I went to the Drunken Boat for breakfast yesterday. It was so cute. And the prices were normal!

They had eggs and baked things and french toast. And strong coffee. Very strong. Like Peet's only it didn't taste like cigarette butts.

So yeah. Just putting that out there.

I had suggested going to bittersweet for brunch this weekend, but I do not think that is a good idea in light of Dani's chocolate party. I'm going to need bacon and maybe some eggs or something instead.

I know! Lois the Pah Queen! Any other suggestions?

Apparently - according to some foodblog I was reading - if you go to http://www.zagat.com/survey and vote on or review local restaurants by Sunday, you'll get a free copy of the next Zagat Guide when it comes out.

I think it would be fun to post brunch stuff in there. They don't have that many restaurants listed and a surprising number are places like Pasta Pom (I mean, what?) but you can write things in too.

Cheers!

Congratulations on finally posting your new brunch menu to your website!

However, I noticed one error:

Mushroom and brie omelet
with fine herbs and breakfast potatoes. . . . $10.50

You should have noticed by now that the brie makes this omelet taste weird and bitter. I am sure that this small typo on the menu is merely an oversight on your part, and that you will correct it post-haste, perhaps by replacing it with something that actually tastes good instead of lurking behind French words to ambush the unsuspecting diner.

With great appreciation, I remain, respectfully yours... et cetera.

Okay, I am trying to plan my weekend. Brunch?

Purple Plum? Which would mean Sunday? And I would like to get there when it opens, which would be 11 am?

What do y'all think?

P.S. The brunch menu is finally online: http://www.thepurpleplum.com/brunch.htm

If anyone wants to make this place more attractive, be my guest. I'm going to go take a shower.
